Every body has a bad day and my grand daughter just loved this one. The author wrote this about her own son and adults and children aloke can relate to this.

I like all the "Alexander" books

This is such a great book for kids. The illustrations are all in black and white and only add to the feeling of miserableness. It really is a book about self pity and is a great place to start bouncing off ideas as to what Alexander could have done to make situations better or what happened that he over reacted to.
Such a fun story. Being from Australia we think it is funny that he keeps commenting on moving to Australia and we just change it to other countries...
