This book is an easy but exciting read. Raven does not know when or if she is ever going to see Alexander again, and she goes to stay with her aunt as she believes he may be in that area. However, her searching for Alexander leads her to discover other vampires who are not as nice as him. It is a good book for vampire lovers and does not have and really scary parts, just good suspense.

The second book in the series follows Raven as she tries to find Alex after he disappeared. Now she knows his secret and tries to get him back. At the same time, another vampire comes to town looking for Alex and Raven thinks that he is in danger. There is a bit more tension and suspense in this book than the first one.
