I am a secondary English and creative writing teacher and find that students aged 12-15 love this story. It is an easy read, but has a tight plot and draws students in. If you are thinking of reading this book, if you liked the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer or as an adult the Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon then you will enjoy this book.

The main character is an interesting "goth" like character with a love of vampires. Enter a new boy in the neighbourhood who is a lot LIKE a vampire, except he can't be, can he? She is not sure, and finding out is a great read. There are also several sequels for those who want to read more.

If you have read the Bella and Edward series - starting with TWILIGHT- and want to read something similar while waiting for the newest books to come out then I highly recommend this series to you. It follows the same basic plot line but has differences so its a whole different story. Sorry g2g bye
