Now repackaged in a gorgeous new paperback and looking even fatter than ever. Louise is an international best-selling author and her books can't fail to make you laugh out loud. There are six things very wrong with my life: I have one of those under-the-skin spots that will never come to a head but lurk in a red way for the next two years; it is on my nose; I have a three-year-old sister who may have peed somewhere in my room; in fourteen days the summer hols will be over and then it will be back to Stalag 14 and Oberfuhrer Frau Simpson and her bunch of sadistic 'teachers'; I am very ugly and need to go into an ugly home; I went to a party dressed as a stuffed olive. Follow Georgia's hilarious antics as she tries to overcome the dilemma's that are weighing up against her, and muddle her way through teenage life and all that it entails: how to replace accidentally shaved-off eyebrows; how to cope with Angus, her small labrador-sized Scottish wildcat; her first kiss with Peter - afterwards known as Whelk Boy; annoying teachers; unsympathetic friends and family; and how to entice Robbie the Sex God! Phew - she's really got her work cut out!

this book is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo funny i read it in one day!!! I even liked it so much i bought the first two in the series(i borrowed the first one from a friend and i had to give it back to her after reading it 3 times lol). I also saw the movie which is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! Buy this book!!!!!!!
this book is...amazing!
my sister actually bought this book for her trip down to brisbane, but didn't start reading it untill she got home. She didnt get long to read it though because after reading the first two, yes two! pages i was hooked! at the time i was a year younger than georgia and could relate with some of the subject matter while also thinking some of the stuff she said was absolutely stupid but sometimes thats just what makes it funny! I was litteraly laughing out loud while reading this book! seriously if i'd been on a train people would have thought i was a super weirdo!
but to be formal this book is about a teenage girl struggling with all the normal problems teenage girls deal with. However, given the fact that she is an abousolute drama queen the the most extreame sense you can clearly surmise that this book is goign to be highly entertaing for those who are living georgias thoughts and those older who are reminicing about not having wrinkles and having hot sex gods chasing after them!
so grab ur Ace Gang(not litteraly of cource they might not take kindly to that lol) and grab a copy of Georgia Nicolson's confessions, tell them all about the book then party till your all speaking in silly english acents!
I randomly picked a book because we were going on a trip and my mum promised me a book for me to read. So I picked up the seventh in the series, not understanding their was a specific order. I thought some of the humour was rather stupid and defitantly thought the Princess Diaries was better so put it off. My friend got me back into the series, so I brought the first one and I rather enjyoed it! I would convince you to try and give these series a go!
This is the perfect exmple of pommy humour at its finest. Georgia is the perfect narrator for this story of a teen in London town. At times she can be quite a drama queen and you want to just strangle her, but like that quirky little sister she's always there and you love her anyway. And the index at the back of the book is just hilarious!
