This novel is the standard Disney adaption of the movie which was a smash hit with girls everywhere. if you have a daughter or sister over five, the annoying songs will be reverberating around your house day in and day out. However the story line isn't too bad, about two kids doing something they don't mind, but wanting to do something else, against their parents wishes. Good idea to get your daughter or sister into reading.
