I have heard this book at the local kindergarten and centres I did my teacher training at. It is such a hit with the children, they were singing 'fire truck' long after the story was read. I recently purchased it myself and it is very popular in my own centre, especially when followed up with a real trip to the fire station which I did!. A must have to add to your teacher resources.

I teach in kindergarten and the early childhood sector. This is my favourite book/CD for use at group times. It has plenty of charisma - and exactly the right amount of repetition. It is powerful in fostering pre-reading skills in a way that is entirely good fun. Children request it again and again - it's a hit!

the children at the preschool i am at love this book

This story is about the life of a fireman, from the morning until he goes to bed at night. It comes with a CD that sings the words of the book with you. The kids love this book, especially the chorus. The kids also liked the story of the fire truck. It is an enjoyable story for children from 3 years onwards.

This book is a must buy. My children listen to it over and over. the man singing the story on the C.D catches the attention of children with his voice and makes the story even more enjoyable. the tune is very catchy and it wont bbe long before your children are singing along. Children are curious about fire engines and fire fighters, this story is great for them as well as children who havnt showen a huge interest in fire engines. And its soo cheap!
