'The Eleventh Hour' is the most incredible children's book I've read. Written and illustrated by Graeme Base, it tells the story of Horace the Elephant hosting his eleventh birthday party. There's a great mystery to solve - and it's up to the reader to find out who did it. Each page has hidden clues, riddles and puzzles to figure out, and even when you solve the main mystery, there's still hidden things in each picture to find related to the answer, and other puzzles to solve. A great book that suits children of all ages - young ones will love the pictures and the story, and older ones will spend ages decoding clues and solving puzzles. Even parents will find this book interesting.
