Following the success of Eragon and Eldest this book continues in the same format as it's predecessor's. It won't dissapoint it's fan's but neither is it a memorable book on it's own, it acts to prolongue the series and at some times the story is too busy hopping around the various plot's to build any attachment to its characters.
The book flow's like a movie would and it's author still needs to work harder on inspiring more feeling.
A feel good book to escape in, but one that will collect dust once read.

The 2nd to last book of the cycle. Although a bit slow at the beginning, it begins to pick up and many unepected twists occur. Some which many will have already guessed and most exciting one that had never crossed anyone's minds. So Eragon fulfills his promise to Roran and from there on; the story continues. Its very exciting and exhilirating, leaves you wanting more. Next thing to do is; speculate and wait for the last one.
