The Tales of Beedle the Bard, a Wizarding classic, first came to Muggle readers' attention in the book known as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Now, thanks to Hermione Granger's new translation from the ancient runes, we present this stunning edition with an introduction, notes, and illustrations by J. K. Rowling, and extensive commentary by Albus Dumbledore.
This is a great idea for a Harry Potter book. If you remember this book was left for Hermione in Dumbledore's will and some of the tales were mentioned in the last installment of the Harry Potter series- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I would recommend getting this book and learning some of the old wizarding stories.
I was a bit confused when first reading one of the reviews. I thought the book had not been released yet and was surprised someone "devoured it in a few hours" when it hasn't been made available to the public. Anyway, I have my copy on order for the December 4 release and will be excited to read it.
Really good for any Harry Potter and the gang fan. A great addition to the collection. If your like me and had some unhealthy withdrawals after the final instalment -Harry Potter and ther Deathly Hollows- then defiantly read this one. i devoured it in a few hours, kept me up a while which is always a good sign
