The adventure begins ... a truly amazing author, J.K. Rowling has ignited the imagination of millions of people, both young and old. As the first of the series it is a must read, definately not the best of the series, but it provides a firm foundation for the characters and the setting. You will enjoy it!!
though perhaps not the best harry potter book in the epic series, this is still a must read, but is certainly worth reading if readers want to gain a thorough under standing of the boy who lived, join in the fun and start at the very beginning of a very splendid and unmiss able magical adventure!
I dont think that there is any human being who doesnt like harry potter!! this series of books is absolutely amazing and they have made jk rowling a billionaire! so obviously they are good! this book esepecially has it is quite dark but also has a little bit of humour at the same time. i would definatley reccomend this book to you!
Right from the beginning of the now international bestselling series of Harry Potter, J. K. Rowling had a style all her own. Her writing is quick, tight, amusing and, at this point at least, has just enough information to build a series upon without going into extessive detail. Book one has a slightly more formulaic fantasy plot than those which follow - but manages to shine for all that.
Harry Potter books are an awsome series and are filled with excitment and mysteries from begining to end. all worth the read and so hard to put down. The price is nothing compared to the enjoyment that you will get from reading this book. You definately want to purchase this book as you will be missing out if you dont! the wonderful book that gets the series started!
Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone is an book that intrigues. It has a great classic storyline of good vs evil and and is written compellingly with an easy to read writing style. In my opinion not quite as good as the oters in the series. But definitely worth reading. This book will be remembered for a long time.
I am not a Harry Potter fanatic but this book was OK. This book gets everyone enthusiastic about the series. It’s a good read for anyone old or young and will have you hooked from start to finish! In my opinion this is the most magical and awesome book in the whole series.
