My son loves reading dinosaur books but some are not very accessable for non-readers, and offer extremely technical and detailed facts about different eras and vegetation etc which he is less interested in. This book is a good read aloud book for a child aged 4-8 as it is fact based, even though it is a fictional context, as opposed to dinosaurs who wear pajamas etc which my son is not interested in as they are not "real" dinosaurs. Would recommend for all dinosaur lovers!

Back in primary, I used to gaze at that yellow bus in the picture book, and dreamed about the one I had to catch everyday turning into something magical too. I must confess it is a very educational sery, which really captures the attention of the young boys especially. The drawings are incredibly detailed, which match beautifully with the words for easy comprehension. I've learnt many odd facts from these books, and my little brother is enjoying it as much I did too!
