The Circle Within is probalby one of the best books I have read covering the topic of Wicca, and this sentiment seems to be echoed by readers far and wide. Finally someone who clearly illustrates that being a Wiccan or pagan means walking the path 24 hours a day, seven days a week - not just on full moons and sabbats.

Sylvan has written a beautiful book that guides the reader into creating a personal spiritual practice for daily life.

The first part of the book examines ethics, philosophy, our ideas of Deity, concepts of sacred space, personal practice, tuning into the Wheel of the Year, and how this all relates to ourselves. Sylvan asks the reader to examine their own beliefs, providing thought provoking questions and exercises.

The second section includes devotional prayers, affirmations, and rituals that can be incorperated into daily living.

This book is not a 101 guide, and expects the reader to understand the basic concepts of Wicca or paganism. It builds on this knowledge, and provides an invaluable read for anyone who wants to develop their spiritual connection with the Divine.

i found this book to be very entertaining it took a few days to read but was worth it in every way possible.it is adventurous and sad at the same time, and the storyline is just great. i recommend this to anyone that loves a good read ages 12+ would be suitable in reading this magnificent story
