Moleskine's city notebooks are something a little bit different, and a little bit lovely in their own way. If you're not planning to visit New York any time soon, this may well not be for you, as it comes with maps, overlays and city-specific information. If you are visiting New York though, or know someone that is, this is a great gift or momento with which to record your stay. It truly is a unique way to capture your experiences in a wonderful town, so for that, it is great!

Moleskines have reached cult status around the world. Interestingly enough, most of the early adopters were techno-whizzes who were tired of constantly buying new gadgets to help run their lives. Moleskines are a stylishly lo-fi way to organize the daily minutiae, with a range of notebooks in different sizes for any purpose you can think of. The city notebook range is great - I really like the idea of the stick on transparent sheets which allow you to mark the maps without actually marking the map itself! The three bookmark ribbons come in handy as well. Overall, a really handy guide for your travels.
