Received an advance copy of this book and love it! Will have it close over the next month, especially in this post-holiday detox phase we are all going through. The 6 day and 14 day programs with dishes and exersise programs are useful. Lots of good information, some of which can be found in his first title Clean and Lean Diet, though this book as extra pages focused on the health of our tummies - the bloated vs stressed stomachs etc and how we can return to good health, clean and lean.
The diet consists of alkaline foods and little, if no rice, pasta and bread. Focuses on white meats - chicken, fish, turkey with lots of fresh vegetables. Not a high protein diet, instead more balanced than other diets emphasising unprocessed meals, steamed, grilled, baked, braised, not fried.
Highly recommended.

This is an excellent book. if you want to know why sugar is so bad for you - read this book. i am now sugar free and more conscious about what foods contain sugar.i have never been able to loose the extra 5 kilos that i had. i lost 2 kilos in 2 weeks without exercising or doing anything different but just by giving up sugar.this book is really inspirational and will motivate you into a really healthy lifestyle.
