I like this book. When your dog is anxious/aggressive you can sometimes feel a little ashamed, especially if he was like that when you got him. Unfortunately, most trainers and dog book authors steer right away from dealing with agression in any but the most cursory way - many of them even load their text up with disclaimers. It is very, very hard to get help with a dog that is agressive due to fear/anxiety. It is especially hard to get him into public to begin learning to like other dogs. It is a pleasure to read a book by an agression specialist who is not all macho and obsessed with dominance. This book is informed by love and copassion for the dogs involved and that makes a hell of a difference. Time wil tell if the methods work, but they all seem pretty logical and likely to succeed!
