Absolutely amazing, if you want to know exactly how a computer works, then this is the book to start with. It is very easy to understand, and details with the most low level features, build its way up. It infact starts from such a low level that it even covers electrons, all the way up to high level languages, applications and hardware. The language is so incredibly clear that I'm sure anyone from 15 up could easily understand it. I highly recommend this book. I also hear that 'Inside the Machine - Jon Stokes' is a brilliant book to move on to after you've read and understood this.
