An interesting book! It goes back to the basics about vampires bringing back all the old myths. Because lets face it, vampires don't sparkle. This series tells the story of young goth chic raven and her woes about being mortal. When she was little she was asked what she wanted to be when she was older. "Vampire" she had replied eagerly. Well now her wish might come true. When Raven finds out her new boyfriend is a vampire she is torn between who she has always wanted to be and what she will have to leave behind. But when it comes to it, what will she choose? A fantastic read with a heroin that is just the right amount of curious, fun and spooky.
