I've just borrowed this book from a friend for a specific recipe & I have to say I don't want to give it back. It was the Hoppers in the Sri Lankna section, & they're pretty good.

I love the foreword before each chapter telling you a little about each region & it's culinary culture.

Charmaine Solomon really knows her stuff! The book is beautiful to look at, very interesting to read, & really exciting to cook from.
