A guide for single and attached girls, broken up into rules that are easy to read but not necessarily to follow. The emphasis is on retaining your independence and loving yourself, making it easy for the right person to love you. I certainly found these very useful when I was single, and funnily enough, I don't need this book anymore.
Yes it works, and by experience an attractive guy loves the mystery of when a girl takes no notice of him at all. Girls, being calm and content is always better than appearing desperate. Highly recommended, and no harm in trying a different approach innit?
All I need to say is, it works! It may seem old fashioned and anti-feminist but its the opposite. This book gives women (and men) the power to obtain the most precious gift, a beautiful and long lasting relationship.
Interesting book, especially reading it as a guy. Helen Fein is right on the money when she states in the book that you are doing men a favour by playing hard to get. Men enjoy challenging women, and if more women followed the rules I don't think we would see the high level of relationship break-ups that plague western society. I would recommend it to anyone.
Buy this book if you want a laugh. It is hilarious, but not because it tries to be. Whilst there are a few tips in there that certainly might help, I think it is fairly important to note that relationships are not one size fits all by any stretch of the imagination, and as such, the 'rules' in this book are certainly not going to work for everyone. A very idealistic view of it all, I must say, a lot of it would end up with you getting dumped when you could have had a chance. Certainly no definitive guide.
