A fantastic book for beginners, like me, or anyone who has a desire to learn about everything related to Wicca and Witchcraft.
Very detailed descriptions and instructions on everything from the origins of Witchcraft, to how to set up your own sacred space and tools, and which spells are appropriate for which time.
I find his views quite liberal in the area of how you must practice - he has a great emphasis on doing that which feels right to you, not blindly following someone else's rules.
A great read and a fantasic tool.

A really interesting general overview of witchcraft, suitable as an introduction for beginners or a reference for the more experienced. I still use this book today: Buckland's appendices of ritual songs and recipies are particularly helpful. Most of his rituals are quite detailed yet simple/flexible enough to change to suit your needs.

one of the first books i bought when getting started on the Wiccan path, and certainly one of the most helpful. while the highly ritualised style of the author's tradition is not for everyone the wonderful tools and exercises more than make up for it. a great resource to turn to for years to come

I found this book vey helpful. It explains some of the history of Witchcraft, as well as the nitty gritty stuff, including spells, rituals, divination. In the book, Buckland can come across a little severe at times, but the information contained is very helpful and insightful. Perfect for anyone starting out in the Witchcraft world, or even for anyone curious as to what it is all about. It also contains exercises to test the knowledge that you have gained in the particular section.

A very interesting book, alot of this so called "witch craft" is all just common knowlege though.
Not very helpful at all actually, I actually got a few laughs out of this. Not really worth reading, it doesn't cover any aspects of witch craft what so ever. I regret buying this. After reading this book, I assumed it was a joke and didn't take it seriously.
Still, I want my money back.
