This Fairy Tale book is the best English translation of the original German Grimm's fairy Tales I have come across. Many people like me who study these tales for the deeper meanings behind the tales and who read these tales regularly to children do agree with me on this fact.

I did spot one error on page 672, in the story of "The Glass Coffin" it tells of a smart taylor who climbed to the top of an oak tree and he was glad that he had his goose with him which stopped him from being blown out of the tree. This should read, that he took his 'flat iron' with him. He is after all a taylor and therefore he takes his iron with him as part of his profession. The iron also has the strength to keep a man standing high where he has to take a lot of wind. Anyway, In the original it speaks of the Taylor's Iron.
