New to the 'Jewishness' of the scriptures, including the Apostolic writings? Want to have a clearer understanding of them? Look no further than David Stern's 'Complete Jewish Bible'. One of the best paraphrased 'starter' texts to grasp hold of a Messianic mindset, and worldview. This bible shows completely how unified both OT & NT are. Offers an extensive explanatory glossary to help with pronunciation.
He correctly uses Hebrew (Jewish names & words) for people, place, & the sacred books.There IS NO us & them mentality...
Offers the reader a great tool, by giving the traditional weekly & holiday synagogue readings - with added relevant NT readings, so you can fully appreciate what Yeshua was doing (for example when He got up to read the Isaiah Scroll in Luke 4)...
For those that have 'eyes to see, & ears to hear' what a terrific 'paraphrased' Bible sounds like, without compromising the truth.
