Not only is the book great for cheap and easy food ideas, it is also beautifully presented where you feel like you’re reading a high class cooking magazine. All recipes are practical and don’t need a pinch of some hard to find ingredient. I love this book.
Very nice little book - very helpful in supplying easy to make, tasty and nutritious recipes for the family. I also like her little hints about how she raises kids and makes sure her family ticks along in a healthy manner. Books like this are very helpful for those with young families trying to make ends meet.
Another useful and practical cookbook from sophie Gray filled with easy to prepare recipes that your family will love. There are some great ideas for healthy, inexpensive lunchbox fillers for the kids. I love that I already have all the ingredients for these recipes in my pantry at home. No fiddly, difficult to find ingredients to complicate things. Very highly recommended.
Get inspired to cook with Sophie's yummy recipes. I love these books because you never need any fancy ingredients and you can pull together most recipes with what's in the fridge and pantry.
You must make Fran's Chocolate Brownie- YUM!
I can not rave enough about this series of cook books. Full of delicous food for the normal person-no expensive ingredient you only use once! A wide variety of flavours, and good on the budget. If you do have a stiff budget for food, i do suggest you try and get one of these books, honest, they are worth every penny!
What a fantastic cookbook. I have used the Homemade section to make my orn yoghurt, buttermilk, mascarpone, creme fraiche and condensed milk.
I have also made nearly all the lunchbox snacks - these are great for kids and adults alike. Our family also love the Meals - Monday to Friday and the Cafe Dining section.
This cookbook is an invaluable addition to any collection and you will use it all the time the food is just so yummy - it makes you want to keep trying new things!
Another awesome cookbook from Sophie Gray. Gorgeous budget ideas for family meals. I especially love the decadent desserts in this book as we do a lot of entertaining and i am always looking for ways to trim the budget without compromising on taste.
