D. M. Ulmer is a 1954 graduate of the US Naval Academy, retired in the grade of Captain. He's a licensed aircraft pilot, a history buff and writes for a variety of periodicals. D.M. Ulmer lives with his wife Carol on Lake Sammamish at Redmond, WA where he indulges his passion for sailing.
