This is really a great book. I have several cupcake books, and this is one of my favourite. It has A LOT of recipes with plenty of ingredient substitution alternatives which is ideal for someone like me who is keen on making different cake variety, not just decorating, but it also give some great ideas on decorating as well. If you like practical cooking (and don't have the time for the more elaborate decorating or cooking like Martha Stewart's Cupcakes), with a lot of variety then this book is one that would top the list. The only small downside is that it doesn't have pictures for every single recipe variation, but there are still plenty of pictures.

Yes, I admit, I became utterly crazy about cupcakes and I decided to force myself, quite literally (the damage to the town-hall doors wasn't THAT bad), on the Sunday coffee morning as the sole cupcake provider. Yes, ok, I did cause a small salmonella outbreak in my small village, but the cakse were oh so pretty. They all went before I could actually taste one so I didn't have chance to tell you about the surely fantastic mouth wateringness of the fairy cakes, but it did mean I became the disinfectant master in the aftermath of the outbreak. I will be trying again and sending random cakes to people in a neighbourhood near you, for you to enjoy! Thank you.
