What a fabulous, yet disturbing book. A must read for any older teenagers especially... perhaps the parent would want them reading it to scare the living be-jesus out of them in regards to drug trafficking. What a HORRIBLE place to spend 12 years of your life... I couldn't put this down!
This is an excellent book!!! I could read it over and over again. This is a great insight into what the prison systems are like in foreign countries. There are no details spared in this thrilling true story about a very strong young man and how his courage helped him to survive those 12 years.
A wake up call for anyone thinking about entering the drug trade. It is graphic and tells of the inhumane treatment one is subjected to if caught in Thailand with punishments unheard of in the Western civilisation. A must read as it depicts life in its reality behind a Thai prison.
