A great book full of interesting information. Everything is set out in manageable chunks, there is no required reading order and all the instructions are well written. This book covers a wide variety of activities from artistic (marbling paper) to educational (Latin phrases) to sporting (the rules of cricket) to random fun (paper planes and waterbombs) and many more. Highly recommended to everyone, not just boys!

Superb book. I bought it for my 12 year old nephew who's not a reader as such, (he's a very good athlete), but knows that acquiring a love for reading will help him with his schoolwork and general learning. The short chapters on such a wide variety of topics was perfect, allowing him to initially choose topics of his interest such as the rules of cricket and famous battles. Very highly recommended.

This is a really awesome book, it has heaps of great information that not only boys can use, the thing I liked about it was that you can read it in any order and its fun to flick through the pages and see whats there. I recommend this book to all who like a nice easy read that is fun and great for the whole family =] .

I bought this book for my godson. It looks perfect for teaching him all those things that a generation ago his Dad would've been getting shown by his Dad. It covers things like the rules of the different games and how to make things that little boys like to make.
