What a book! If your young at heart, and even if your not, this is great read, and like the author (or is it John Campbell...) it's full of fun activities to re-discover the joy of lazy Sunday afternoons. This book is a must for every man and boy!

A wonderful and exciting book as a gift for a boy. All sorts of useful information and lots to inspire and encourage a young mind. The sort of stuff that an earlier generation learnt through the Scouts. A much better collection than the English version.

"The Dangerous book for Boys Kiwi version" A major hit with 8 year old grandson..He spent the following adults around with his book open to show us so many things... flags, knots, and I'll need to ask Jackson about the rest.. He will know it all about now.. even the advice for boys on meeting girls... Oh yeah, great with humour attached. Finally I was reminder of the "Annuals for Boys" and "Annuals for Girls" we used to have back in the 50's.. still have them and hopefully Jackson will have this book to show his children and granchildren in the future.

My 13 year old son couldn't put it down. Loved especially the dog training section as he is now trying to turn our little Jack Russel into an agility dog....poor dog

This is a very seriously cool book for boys to play. Forget about video games and getting fat, this is the book for any boys who wants to live the full life. From how to cook up a rabbit you just hunted to must - know practical everyday play. I am so glad for the author to revive a new boyhood culture!

Ok so I haven't gone out and bought this one yet but I'm defiantly going too. I have the girls book and I keep it on my bed side table cause its just so cute and funny. I read an article or two before I go to bed. The designs of these books are just stunning too. Even better its the new zealand edition... I've never seen that before.
