Great book Jacques Dubrinsky tortured isolated and imprisoned for 7 years almost insane is rescued by a brilliant surgeon who has to choose to be mortal or Carpathian. Great

Christine Feehan has done it again with this book in the Dark Series.
This story is one that makes you keep reading until you've finished the book. Well for me anyway.
I would recommend any book of Christine Feehan's, as she is one of my fav authors.
Jacques is a wonderful character, more animal than man, as he has been tortured for 7years. Even though he doesn't trust Shea at first, as she thinks she left him for dead, she is his Lifemate.

Fantastic Second book in Feehans Carpathian series. In this book Mikhail's brother Jaques has been captured by two human vampire hunters and a "betrayer". A Female woman, Shea, comes to his aid after he has been buried alive for seven years and she turns out to be his lifemate. A gripping book where Jaques attempts to reconnect with his sanity and family and try and make sure shea never leaves him. Wonderful storyline. Fantastic vivid scenes and a betrayal like no other. Suspense in the making.
