This book by Christine Feehan is the first in a series about Carpathians. These Carpathians are an immortal race provided they do not give into blood lust and start killing humans, which can happen if they do not find their soul mate. While they are not technically vampires if you like vampire fiction you will like this series.
Her books are very easy to read and generally involve several climax points with various confrontations with vampires which keeps you reading and pulled into the story. Think romance novel with a twist. Great to see the main female character Raven is a strong independent modern daywoman too. I for one an addicted to this series, A+

The first book in her "Dark" series revolving around a powerful species known as Carpathians whose males are doomed to become soulless vampires if they do not find their soul mates.
In this novel the Prince of the Carpathians discovers that a human woman named Raven is his soulmate, but vampires and vampire hunters endager the bond the share.
If you like paranormal romance with a twist, where the heroes are dark and moody, you'll like this series. Feehan combines well the element of supernatural, suspense and steamy romance in her work.

An interesting and greatly enjoyed book. You need to start here at Dark Prince and you will totally fall in love with this series.. A must have collection..

This is the first book in the 'Dark Carpathian'series. I could hardly put it down, I can't wait to read the rest! Christine has a way of drawing you into the world of the Carpathians like no other author. A Must read!

This is the first in Christine Feehan's Dark Carpathian series. I couldn't put it down, I was so drawn into the story. I loved both Mikhail and Raven. A great introduction for futher characters whose stories we will follow. Five stars!

"Dark Prince"by Christine Feehan is the beginning of a great series. The Carpathians are a species that have lasted centuries, but are dying out because there are few Carpathian women and the men turn vampire without their soulmate or LIFEMATE.
This series made me interested in paranormal romances, and i have now read many.
If you like paranormal or just want something different to read, this is the series to read.
Christine Feehan is now one of my favourite authors.
