As per usual - this author has once again excelled. Definitely a Keeper.
A couple of new characters have been added, a Nemesis ot two destroyed & major problems on the way to being alleviated - I sincerely hope that this series will definitely continue.

One of the best Christine Feehan books ever...
I really enjoyed reading this book, the hero Razvan is sweet and charming.Exactly the kind of hero I love to read about.
Unlike other Capathian stories, the courtship between the hero and the heroine is not all like: I found you, you're mine you don't get a say...Instead it unfolds at a slower rate with the heroine recognising the hero as her lifemate and claiming him.
An action packed book for Capathian Fans out there

LOVED IT - HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Deviating a bit from the normal formula of her other 'Dark' Carpathian books, Feehan's Dark Slayer was a unique entry into the popular long running series and ended up being one of my favorites. Though fans who live for Feehan's uber alpha males may be disappointed, I really liked the hero Razvan (former long time series villain) - unlike many of the other arrogant domineering former leading men, Razvan is non-neanderthal-like, supportive and more than willing to let his vampire Slaying mate, Ivory Malinov, take the lead (maybe because he's a `turned' as opposed to a `born' Carpathian). Both of the starring pair have had enough pain and suffering in their interesting backstories, and in their experiences with family members turning to the darkside, to make them empathetic to the other's struggles and to make them both cherish the gift of a Lifemate.
So is anyone besides me wondering how long is Feehan going to be able keep this series going? There still several stories I've been waiting for, in this book even more potential leading men hunters are introduced, and I really don't see the overall story arc building up to a big finish. But hey, I'm not the only one still loving and buying the books, so who knows - maybe this series will be as immortal as Feehan's Carpathians themselves.

Christine Feehan has done it again. She has given a new teist into her Carpathian series of books. I've read all her books in this series and cannot seem to get enough.

You know when you get halfway through a book and you start to panic because you never want the story to end? Dark Slayer's one of those. This is Christine Feehan at her best. A story of betrayal, dread, love and redemption, Dark Slayer introduces Ivory Malinov, long thought by her people to be dead, and pairs her with Razvan - branded a traitor and criminal - a dragonseeker most despised by his people. The kind of story you could consume in one sitting, but try to take your time and savour it. It'll all be over too soon anyway.
