The 2nd book of the story of the Bonner Family - taking you to Canada and Scotland, with Pirates, Smugglers, Highjacking and love that knows no boundaries.
Like slipping into a favourite pair of Pyjama's, where you feel at home.
For me this book had a lot to live up to. It was a great story, I enjoyed it but it was not as good as Into the Wilderness. What can I say, I just love Elizabeth and Nathaniel.
Sequel to "Into the Wilderness" - a great read.
I found it completely captivating and felt so much for Elizabeth when she is deceived and her babies are taken from her. Sara Donati writes well and creates such drama and twists - especially at the end. I couldn't wait to read the next installment....Diana Gabaldon fans will enjoy her books - although they have the same depth!!
