This book was a mixed bag as far as the novellas went. While I absolutely adored the Sherrilyn Kenyon story "Shadow of the Moon", I found I didn't enjoy the other three anywhere near as much. Getting to read Fury's story and seeing more of Zarek, Vane, Bride and Fang was fabulous and Fury's attitude was highly amusing. I loved digging a little deeper into the workings of the Omegrion as well.
J.R. Ward's "Story of Son" was unusual but it just jarred a little with me, perhaps it was that I thought Claire fell too fast and too strongly for "Son/Michael". I loved her character prior to her abduction and she just felt a little ruined after it.
Susan Squires' "Beyond the Night" while having an interesting concept of vampirism just didn't deliver on any of the tropes/plot devices that I read paranormal romances for. It wasn't anything wrong with the writing per se, it just didn't appeal to me.
Dianna Love's "Mignight Kiss Goodbye" shows promise for an interesting world that I would be keen to delve into. I think perhaps the niggling little issues I have with this novella were simply a result of the fact that it was a novella and I was trying to absorb a rich and detailed world in such a short space of time. I think I shall have to check out some longer works by her to see if this fixes my issues.

This is a great addition to any vampire collection. Loved all the stories and there were quite a few. (I am a big fan of almost all of the authors in this anthology.) I will be on the lookout for the follow-up! I also liked Dead Sexy (Vampire Erotica) and would suggest it along with this one.

There are four short stories here. This is the paranormal romance genre which is a personal favourite and I got this book because I admire Sherrilyn Kenyon and J R Ward's writing very much. I found the first three stories great but couldn't get into the fourth one. Nevertheless an anthology worth reading.

I enjoyed this book. Being a fan of Sherrilyn Kenyon it was excellent but also an opportunity to explore other writers. Each story was complete in itself and I'll be buying more by JR Ward and Susan Squires in particular.

I bought this book to continue the Dark Hunters series by Sherrilyn Kenyon and ended up enjoying all the book especially J.R. Ward's story. They are four short stories that should touch everyones taste buds for the paranormal. Sherrilyn's story is about Fury and his love for Angelina - sworn enemies become sworn lovers. Wards srort is about a lost son who is treatred unfairly for what he is and the lawyer who saves him while falling in love with him. This is a good book.
