Dear Zoo is an absolute classic of literature for young readers. It was the one book I insisted we buy our first child which she loved, and still loves to this day (she's four and a half) although she prefers reading books suitable for children her age ;) Dear Zoo contains the stylised illustrations essential for young children's vision and the interactivity of lift-the-flaps, which adds surprise and extra interest. An essential of childhood!
This is my son's favourite book at the moment (19 months). He loves trying to guess what animal is under each flap (although it's not really guessing any more as he has memorised them all) and still gets excited at the end when the zoo finally send the perfect animal. Highly recommended!
