Aparajita Mukherjee PhD, is former Professor of Economics, Department of Economics and Politics, Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, West Bengal. Having a teaching experience of more than three decades at graduate and postgraduate level, she has supervised and guided PhD scholars in the field of Development Economics. Dr. Mukherjee has published/presented several research papers and review articles in reputed journals/national and international conferences, and has also authored a book. Saumya Chakrabarti PhD, is Associate Professor of Economics, Department of Economics and Politics, Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, West Bengal. Besides, he has taught at Calcutta University, Presidency University, and St. Xavier's College (Kolkata). With more than a decade of teaching experience in the subject at the graduate and postgraduate levels, he has contributed several articles in many reputed journals and has also authored a book. Dr. Chakrabarti has been associated with Brown University (USA) and has received D.K. Desai Award 2012 by the Indian Society of Agricultural Economics.
