This is a great book and I loved reading it! It has lovely illustrations and the wombat is just adorable! This book is great for all ages, and I just love Jackie French's books! I hope you like it too!
A lovely book that is better then some of the more traditional children's stories that have been out there forever. Excellent illustrations accompany a modern, refreshing, interesting text
This book is hysterically funny. We bought it for our young daughter, but my husband and I were rolling on the floor from reading about the wombat's antics. The illustrations are adorable, the text is simple, and the portrayal of the wombat is perfect. This book is a real treat for all ages!
This is an absolutely gorgeous childrens book. The wombat is truely adorable and will make you laugh out loud at it's human like antics. Jackie French has created a truely adorable book that is not only enjoyable for kids but for all ages.
This book will have your kids fall in love with wombats all over again and have them asking "Mum why can't we have a pet wombat?"
One of my favourite Kids books.
This is a gorgeous book and really captures the essence of wombats. The pictures are beutiful and the words are basic but well chosen. It's a clever concept and I find kid sna dadults love it...and laugh, it's very funny!
My son received this book from his grandad who lives in Australia when he was 1. Is is very basic in it's presentation, but lovely detailed pictures and story line. Kind of written in the style of Bridget Jones Diary - it's the day in the life of a wombat, very funny, cute, and adorable story.
Teach your kid to read and introduce them to Aussie culture at the same time. Every adult I have shown this book to has fallen in love with it. Short on words and big on pictures, just the way the kids like it! But the few words perfectly convey popular image of the Wombat: short, stout, tough, demanding, devious, but overwhelmingly cute. The pictures are adorable, and the the story funny. A must for every 4 year old and 40 year old.
