The Druid Craft Tarot set includes a full set of 78 tarot cards and a 192 page guidebook, detailing the imagery on the cards and their meanings. The card illustrations by Will Worthington are stunning and use imagery based on druid and pagan themes. Some of the Major Arcana names have been changed - for example The Devil is instead Cernnunos which is a welcome alteration. The book has excellent accompanying interpretations with inspiration for everyday life. It is by far the best tarot set I've seen and is great for beginners and more experienced readers alike.
These are beautifully illustrated cards, which integrate Druid and Wiccan symbology. If you find the traditional tarot decks a bit stark and harsh on the eyes and the mind, you might find these much more aesthetically pleasing, and intiutively inspiring.
The meanings attributed to each card show a depth of perception and a compassionate understanding of the human state. They are less predicitive of future event and more geared to give guidance about underlying causes, and states, but traditional meanings are also referred to, as are numerological insights. For me this makes reading much more meaningful and helpful than some other interpretations.
The layout of the book is innovative, discussing the court cards first, then the minor arcana by number, then the major arcana. This does make the meanings of the cards easier to understand, remember and look up.
The cards themselved are just a little but taller than would be easy and comfortable for me to shuffle, and the cardboard that they're made of could be a bit more sturdy, and smooth-coated.
However, in all, my favourite of all the ddecks and torot books I have come across.
