I think that if you are morbidly obese, this book would be for you! You must also like meat. It really is just another version of high protein, low carb but i do link the four phase thing and would suggest that this is probably what makes this diet work. But you do have to take on Dukans diet for basically, the rest of your life. I don't know how hard that would be but not completely unachievable?
We ordered two of these books and then waited and waited and waited for them to be delivered.
We were left waiting for an unreasonable amount of time and are quite disgusted with the lenghthy wait.
Beware if your books are being sent from overseas!!!!!
In the meantime all the information was able to be found on the internet and we no longer need the books.

This "diet" is so easy and you never feel hungry. The inital dramatic weight loss, when on the protein only first part, is also very inspiring and keeps one motivated. It can get a bit boring trying to think of different ways to cook on the protein only days in the inital two stages of the diet. It will make a much more creative cook out of one. The book is and easy read and seems to make a lot of sense. It is really working for me, even with a little bit of cheating.
After hearing about this diet I thought I would get the book. It is a very interesting read, and I am sure that it would work for some people. I think that a person would have to be very strong to be able to sustain the prolonged eating plan. I think that it is far too hard. I have decided to do another eating plan but I do stress that the book would be great for a certain type of person.
