another great book from anthony horowitz!! i love all these books about alex, as he is a really likeable main character, compared to some other ones out there. he always gets into tough situations, but manages to work his way out of them with such skill! a must read if you liked the precursor, skeleton key.
Would Alex Rider ever work independent and not with MI6?
Well, actually yes he would! In the book Eagle strike by Anthony Horwitz, Alex Rider, MI6 secret agent, feels confident enough to work by himself with out MI6. But everything goes wrong and Alex is caught by, multimillionaire, Damian Cray in his own compound and he is put into a real life copy of one of Cray's videogames. Barely escaping his own death in the real life game, he is able to steal a chip that Cray needs to set off 25 missiles aimed all over the world. But Alex notices that his best friend, Sabrina, has disappeared. He suspects that the kidnapper is Cray.
Personally I think the Eagle Strike was an amazing book and I never wanted to put it down. It seems like every chapter has it own rising action, climax and resolution. So its like there are little missions that lead to, or relate to one big mission that the book is based on. But before reading Eagle Strike I would read Storm Breaker then Point Blank then Skeleton Key to get a better understanding of the characters. For this book, I would recommend the reader to be around 14 years old and a reader of fiction. I believe this book is best suited for a fourteen year old because the main character is fourteen and he thinks like every other fourteen year old would.
Eagle Strike is a realistic fiction book. It was written by Anthony Horowitz.
This book is about a teenager named Alex Rider. The story starts in the beaches of France where Alex and his friend Sabina are resting. Then, when Alex gets back to England, He tries to get into the place where Damian Cray is showing off his new game system. Alex then thinks that Damian Cray has a big plan but he doesn't know what it is. Then Alex spies on Damian Cray and starts to get onto what's going on.
This book was an ok book and would be good for people who like action.
The fourth Alex Rider book. While Alex is relaxing in the South of France, with his friend Sabina, Alex finds himself on yet another mission. This time Alex is try to stop a man who wants to bomb the world with nuclear bombs only thinking hes going to the world a better place for everyone. And his enemy Yassen ( a contract killer is out to ge him ).
The series continues and Alex Rider(MI6 reluctant teenage spy) while relaxing in the South of France with his freind Sabina Pleasure sees his enemy Yassen a contract killer.Alex gets curious on seeing Yassen and falls in a case which involves a madmad who is ready to destroy the world using nuclear bombs just to improve the world.Alex is in many dangerous situtations and even in a real life game.
I reccomend this book to all people young or old who like mysteries and like reading andventure stories.(Even the other books in the series-Sto…c,Skeleton Key,Scorpia and Arcangel are excellent books and I recommend reading them too.
