No animal has captured the human imagination quite like the horse, depicted in cave drawings thousands of years ago through countless renderings in paint, clay, ink, even film. About the Author

Tim Flach is a graduate of Central Saint Martins in London, where he studied photography. He spent twenty years as a successful advertising photographer - his clients included Adidas and Sony - before turning to more personal work, garnering much press and many awards along the way. With this latest project, commissioned by PQ Blackwell, a publisher in New Zealand, Flach reveals an extraordinary talent for animal portraiture and nature photography. He lives in London, England.
