I first fell in love with Lisa Hunt's artwork in her collaborations with D.J. Conway, in their Celtic Dragon Tarot and their Fantastical Creatures Tarot, and have since loved every bit as much her Animals Divine Tarot. If you love her artwork, and fairy tales have always interested you, you are bound to love this deck. There are several fairy tale tarot decks available, but this is very much my favourite, in part because I do love the exquisite detail and the sheer magic in her artwork but also because the companion book with this set is so delightfully written. You can spend hours reading the stories, some of them very well known stories but many of considerably less well known. In every case, her choice of story and her artwork add another dimension of meaning to the card - which is what we surely are looking for in any theme-based deck. The absence of borders means that these cards look sensational in a 9 card or a 21 card spread where they are all adjoining.
