The astonishing novel "Brave New World," originally published in 1932, presents Aldous Huxley's vision of the future -- of a world utterly transformed. Through the most efficient scientific and psychological engineering, people are genetically designed to be passive and therefore consistently useful to the ruling class. This powerful work of speculative fiction sheds a blazing critical light on the present and is considered to be Aldous Huxley's most enduring masterpiece.
The nonfiction work "Brave New World Revisited," first published in 1958, is a fascinating work in which Huxley uses his tremendous knowledge of human relations to compare the modern-day world with his prophetic fantasy envisioned in "Brave New World," including the threats to humanity, such as overpopulation, propaganda, and chemical persuasion.

Brave New World is definately a book that everyone must read. The book is a bout an anti-utopian society governed by an all powerful state. It is really interesting, and warns of an all too possible future if the human race continues as it is. a very interesting read!
a good read if you enjoyed other books like this, such as 1984, as they are quite similar in my mind as they both tell of the govt havin a lot of interference in peoples lives. in this one, babies are concieved in a lab, and birth is a dirty word, as is mother! this read was really interesting, and also food for thought!
Extremely intrepid book which absolutley blew my mind. Aldous Huxleys best book and is very very engaging read about what could be. Sheds heaps of light onto the topic of the future and will have you stuck to the pages. Very large classic book, for young and old.
Brave new world is one of the most important and influential books ever. Yes it has science fiction tendencys but today the laughable situations seem to be not as crazy as first thought. the revisited section is very good also allowing huxley to draw comparisons of the dystopian society with todays society. two really good reads and well worth grabbing.
This book is another like George Orwell's 1984, a formidable view of a fufuristic possible dystopian society. This book enlightened me as a child, it is written with clear intelligence and intellectual competancy. A Brave New World is addictive to the reader and delves deep into the disturbing future world.
