Why oh why would the Romans accpt the application of Gauls to become Gladiators? The Romans have no idea what they're in for when they put Asterix and Obelix in the riing! In fact, this mission isn't really going quite the way that ANYONE planned it. A brilliant new comic from the acclaimed authors of this world-wide beloved series. Enjoyable, witty and entertaining. One of the all time greats, it’s the adventure of Asterix and Obelix in the arena as gladiators! If a fan you already know that it’ll be classic. Causing a ruckus in the circus, meeting Julius Caesar, beating up the bad guys, singing and having a hoot. This is perhaps one of the best Asterix comics but as has been said before – they’re all the best!

This time it's Cacofonix the bard whose taken and given as a gift to Caesar, who orders him thrown to the lions. Our intrepid heros must trapse to Rome and become gladiators in order to save him...
