Alan Moore has an innate understanding of creativity but despite feeling respect and even awe for how his works spring forward from the process he sign posts in the book, I found it hard to take anything pragmatic away. It's his intuitive style that appeals but sort of leaves anyone who can't match it without a means to apply it. You might find you know what he means but can't really capture it in your own work. I found that I kept the general ideas in my head but was left with the same unanswered questions about technical execution. Regardless, this book is an affordable momento for any Alan Moore fan.
