One of the more interesting graphic novels out there. This tome goes (quite literally) through Hell and back as Dream tries to find his lost kingdom. Some of the stories in it are quite chilling. It's also a must buy for people into Neil Gaiman. It is one of those graphics that non-graphic novel readers (like me) can get into

The Sandman is a glorious, well renouned comic, which set a precedent in creativity, as it was made well before its time. You will understand why when you read this bizarre, twisted yet poetic and beautiful comic. This is definately one for the romantic mind, and also for the intellectual (not that you can't be both!). This is the gateway to an incredible world and journey, and I highly recommend that you take it!

The Sandman series is utterly gorgeous. Preludes and Nocturnes plunges you right in, and introduces you to the world of the Endless, with the first eight comics from the original series. Gaiman is a literary genius, and the artwork is really beautiful. The Sandman is an experience, not just a read.
