The title of this series is "Fruits Basket", or 'Furuba' in Japan. It is one of the best selling manga series in America today, and has even reached the best-sellers list of mainstream books! I really enjoyed this series, especially this one, the first, where the love triangle begins and we meet characters such as Tohru, Kyo, Shigure and 'Prince Charming', Yuki.

I really like the Fruits Basket series. This one, the first, introduces the characters and begins the love triangle that has kept so many readers hooked!

A really loveable story, I really enjoy Fruits Basket. The heroin Honda is forced to live in a tent. After her tent is destroyed by a landslide, she ends up moving in with a special bunch of boys who also happen to turn into animals of the zodiac when embraced by a member of the opposite sex. The pics are just too cute for words. You really feel for Honda when you discover she's lost her mother and has taken to living in a tent......read this so you can read some more volumes :)

Kawaii!!!, such a cute manga. Very traditional charcter designs, extreemly large eyes for both male and female characters. In the first volume we meet many of the main characters; their struggles, fears etc. Tohru Honda becomes almost like a counciler for the family; always expressing her thoughts and feelings.
It's not only the family that has their problems, Tohru has her own. It's been only months since her mother died, and the house where she is gonna live in is under-going renovations, so she decided to rough it out.. in a tent!! Tis where it all starts!
