Love Mode volume 3, continues with Izumi and Arashi. Izumi is B&Bs no 1 host. Arashi, for his summer break does some volunteer work at an old-man's house. When a lid of a paint jar falls into the neighbors backyard Arashi meets Izumi, the old man's neighbor and so our story begins but the plot is not as simple as it seems as Izumi has to face his past and what he is to Arashi. Izumi's story is absolutely heartbreaking and filled with angst and emotion. Kiichi, the doctor plays a truly significant role in this volume as we get to know more of his true character.
This volume truly brings out the best talents of the author and certain scenes in the manga will leave you with lumps in your throat. The characters are truly well developed and endearing and the artwork is great considering how old this manga is. The sex scenes are tasteful and completely appropriate. Overall this volume is a must have and not to be missed.
There is also a bonus chapter on Naoya and Aoe.
