I love the Riley Jensen series but this book was for me the least good in the series.

I found the book relatively slow - it moves along ok but not nearly as explosively as say the first three in the series. It was also very dark, even by KA's standards and I found the extreme S&M aspect of the book pretty offputting. I like that the sex in this series is so passionately uninhibited but a scene were someone has a body part ripped off during sex is just plain unpleasant. Not erotic at all.

On an emotional level, I also felt a bit disheartened by the Riley/Quinn storyline - overall I felt pretty flat at the end of the book and nearly gave up on the series. Happy to say that the series has improved since this relative low point.

to the previous reveiwer hunny get real if you actually pay attention to the story line those guys tools are kinda spiked and there is nothing seductive about that! but the story line is brilliant it has revenge, passion and a totally kick assed chick fighting. she does what she has to do and makes time for a little fun with Kade on the side. the plots thickens and when her pack is threatened get out of the way the bitch is coming through!

This is a scary, seductive and exciting story of mystery and romance. Any fan of this genre will love this book, and Arthur is a much-loved author of many. I recomend this book to anyone who wants to try something a little different, but who is still a romantic at heart. Great price and a great book
