So, Riley Jensen, half-vamp, half-werewolf, thinks her life is getting better? Ha! The Alpha of her estranged Pack is demanding her help in finding his missing grandfather. Not that Riley doesn’t want to help people in need, but hey, this is the guy who tried to throw her off a mountain! If riley refuses, however, her mother will be killed. If that’s not enough, something nasty is tearing humans to shreds, and it’s up to Agent riley of the Directorate of Other Races to track down the killer. Once gain Arthur gives us a believable alternate reality, combined with a taut plot, and an endearing, energetic character who has more depth than the usual paranormal heroine. But boy, do I get tired of the on-again, off again romances!
