I have enjoyed all of the Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris to date - I'm still hanging out for the very last one - the one which ties up all the loose ends and reveals a few mysteries thrown up in previous books (its on my Wishlist). "Dead to the World" was, as always, a please to read - both times! I've passed it on to a friend who is a recent convert to Sookie's world. I would recommend the whole series to anyone who wants a light read, leaning towards the "chick-lit" (but not exclusively) with lots of humour and interesting human-relationship threads.

I loved this book, it had everything, The characters are brilliant and you can't help but love Sookie the main character. I would definitly reccomend.

This is where things start to change in Sookie's life - Bill is no longer her boyfriend, people are now even more warier of her, and Eric, the Sheriff of Area 5, suddenly does not know who he is anymore. This book is best so far in this series, as it has more humour than the other three before it, and is focused more on Eric and Sookie. It also has a few laughs and the occasional ups and downs betweens characters, but overall - this is a fantastic book to read!!

This book keeps you enthralled from the first page to the last and then has you hanging out for more. With the combination of WERE’s, VAMPIRE’s, SHAPE-SHIFTER’s and more, this book is a must read for anyone who has an interest in this genre and especially if you have read the previous three novels in this fantastic series. Another fantastic story by Charlaine Harris.
